Globalization has blurred the lines and competition is getting fiercer than ever, but it makes it impossible for any company to go global!

 

In welcoming Asean Economic Community 2015, with the emphasis of free flow of goods and services, it threatens and challenges Indonesian companies at the same time. In 2014, The 10th MIST proudly presents “Empowering Local Heroes Towards Global Scope” to help everyone understand what it takes to go global.

 

What can we do?

 

It’s time for local companies to initiate expanding its business towards global scope. Indonesian companies show great potential of world expansion. Several of them have made their way to that level. Yet the spirit needs to be spread! One day the locals will be able to compete against those 500 Fortune companies. Nothing is impossible, keep optiMIST!

 

Regardless of many functions within companies that need to be leveled up, somehow marketing strategies play a BIG BIG role. To name a few, Fedex, McDonalds, IBM, Apple, Uniqlo, and other multinationals have proven that paying great attention to marketing strategies can give them amazing returns.
